Project Description:
This project will provide a single point of entry for the customers, employees and other government entities by providing a standard look and feel and image of the UAE Federal Government. This project provides access to the UAE Federal Government online by providing information related to the federal government as a whole, the individual ministries and authorities, the services, defined communities, news, laws and regulations etc.
Key questions to be addressed :
How do I
• How can I access proposals, tenders and procurement opportunities?
• How can I access pre-approved material list?
• How can I pre-qualify to bid and execute construction projects in the UAE?
Vision:
• To be the single access point & preferred channel to UAE Federal Government services and information, for Residents (Citizens and Non-citizens), Businesses, Visitors, and federal Employees.
• To attract & improve public and business interaction and involvement.
• To improve the level of customer satisfaction and move them from being "in line" to being "online" through efficient and well developed E-services.
• To increase individual and cross-departmental collaboration.
• To have a centralized content management for all government ministries and entities with decentralized & standard eServices.
• To reflect the true values, culture and heritage of the UAE.
• To establish and lead the UAE Federal Portal to be one of the world best E-governments Portals.

• Provisioning of a Single Point of Access to Government Information and Services.
• Provisioning of a unified infrastructural gateway.
• Streamlining the Portal Processes.
• Delivering an Easy to Use Friendly Government Portal.
• Ensuring Security for all sensitive Data & Back End Systems.
• Marketing of Content and Services.
e-Project Description:
The eProject will result in a system that provides a single entry point to the federal government employees and customers to access monitor and manage their federal projects impacting most ministries within the federal government.
Vision:
• Improved process: Business process reengineering is utilized to deliver logical and efficient process that is supported by e-enabled technology.
• Improved Customer Service: Both internal and external customers of FeG services receive a measurably improved service.
• Eliminate Duplication: Waste through redundant and duplicated processes is identified and re-engineered out of the process.
• Reduce Paperwork: Where possible the manual handling of paperwork is removed or minimized through the use of technology.
• Minimize handoffs: Through the use of progress monitoring, calendaring and streamlined process hard handoffs between individuals and organizations can be minimized.
• Reduced transaction cost: Through efficiency savings the transaction cost model can be radically altered to generate savings.
• Single point of information management: This will deliver integrated, consistent information flow.
Objectives:
The main objectives of the eProject are:
• Ability to manage UAE federal projects' online from start to finish.
• Provide a "One Stop Shop" linking federal ministries to provide a common interface through which they can identify and obtain all required information, progress and services, etc related to the federal projects.
• Provide necessary foundation layers to integrate seamlessly with other identified projects and subsequent wave of Federal eGovernment projects.
• Design, develop, and implement a scalable, secure system for the UAE federal eGovernment accessible by various communities of UAE and integrated with Federal Government entities' systems.
